How long does it take to receive an official transcript?
Orders are processed the following duty day. All orders placed through the CCAF system are mailed through the United States Postal Service. Please allow 10-14 business days from when we receive your request for the transcript to be delivered. If you need your transcript faster, please use Option 1 and select the FedEx option.
How does a non-Air Force member request a transcript for the first time?
If you are a non-Air Force enlisted member (i.e., member of another branch of service, officer, or civil service employee) who attended a CCAF course, and this is your first time requesting a CCAF transcript, we will need to create a CCAF record for you. Please follow the directions below:
NOTE: If you are not a registered student and have taken courses at a CCAF affiliated school, please provide the following documents:
- Complete CCAF Transcript Request Form
- Submit copies of course completion certificates

How does a student have his/her civilian credit applied to the CCAF record?
CCAF accepts only official transcripts from civilian institutions. The transcript must be mailed or transmitted directly from the civilian institution to CCAF. CCAF will not accept transcripts marked "Issued to Student," unofficial transcripts”, or faxed transcripts. Transcripts are not acceptable from students, counselors, recruiters, or any other third party.

CCAF also accepts electronic transcripts from schools that use the vendors listed below. The transcripts are official and secure from alteration. Students will need to log onto their school’s website to order the transcripts. CCAF has an account established with each vendor. Students will need to select Community College of the Air Force or type firstname.lastname@example.org as the receiving institution. Electronic transcripts will only be accepted from these vendors. CCAF will not accept electronics transcript links from students or any third party.

How much time should be allowed for student’s record to be updated?
Please allow at least 60-90 days for the student record to be updated once the transcript has been received at CCAF. CCAF processing of incoming transcripts includes transcript receipt, identification, scanning into Singularity, transcribing courses to student record, and course evaluation for degree program applicability.
