Graduation Information

Graduation not only represents the successful completion of Squadron Officer School but enables those graduating to become better leaders and the future leaders of the Air Force.  Graduation takes place in Polifka and is attended by distinguished guests including Honorary Squadron Commanders as well as family, spouses and children.  Graduation is a time to acknowledge the contributions of groups, individuals, and flights for exceptional work throughout their course.

Congratulations to the class of 17F and the flight commanders who were vital to the success of the class sharing their expertise and knowledge on each and every lesson!

17F graduated 553 students across 41 flights.   Each flight was composed of thirteen to fourteen Air Force officers and Department of Defense civilians who worked together throughout the course.  The Class of 17F also had 22 International Officers from 16 countries.  The countries represented in this class include Bahrain, Cameroon, Chile, Czech Republic, Jordan, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mauritius, Malaysia, Nigerian, Niger, Oman,  Philippines, Slovak Republic, Surinam, and Tunisia.  Although the class was here for five weeks their impact is long lasting.  These students donate much of their time and resources to special programs.  This class donated over 175 hours of community service to different organizations in the local community. This class donated $1,650 to the Air Force Assistance Fund and EOD Memorial Triathlon.

Here is a look at the five weeks of 17F:

Good luck to the Class of 17F as you go forth with new relationships that last a lifetime and welcome to the class of 18A.
