ACSC is the Air Force's intermediate level officer PME. Each year it has over 600 majors and major-equivalent civilians from the Air Force, other U.S. services, U.S. government agencies, and over 70 other nations.
The event, held annually at Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, brings together former aviators to meet with current students at the Air Command and Staff College.
Over the Horizon interview of Gene Kranz at Air University. He was a fighter pilot; a test pilot and he worked for NASA as a flight director throughout the Apollo program. Most notably Apollo 11 when we put a man on the moon and Apollo 13 where he and his team brought back three astronauts that were in a stricken spacecraft and brought them safely home. He speaks on teamwork and working through adversities.

The United States Air Force Air Command and Staff College is the intermediate Air Force professional military school. Annually, we prepare about 500 resident and over 9,000 nonresident students from all US military services, federal agencies, and 65 partner nations to lead in the operational environment - emphasizing the employment of airpower in joint operations.
