Your time here will be both challenging and rewarding. Before you depart for the U.S., please use this website to better prepare you for your arrival and discover all that Maxwell AFB, Gunter Annex, and our local community have to offer. As you navigate our website; you will notice links to all International Officer and Non-commissioned Officer courses currently available for International Military Students (IMS) at AU. When you click the link for your course, you will be directed to an Electronic-Welcome Package. You should already have received this package of information from the Security Cooperation Office located in the U.S. Embassy in your country. The E-Welcome Package contains reporting instructions and other helpful information so that you and your family know what to expect and can make educated decisions before coming to the United States. Please read it thoroughly, because it will certainly help you with your transition.
