WASHINGTON--Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. Patrick S. Ryder provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, Jr. met today with Netherlands Chief of Defense Adm. Rob Bauer in Washington D.C.
The two military leaders discussed shared security concerns faced in Europe and ways to increase coordination in areas of mutual interest. Gen. Dunford thanked Adm. Bauer for the Netherlands' contributions to NATO missions worldwide.
The Netherlands is a key NATO ally and shares a strong partnership with the U.S. around the globe.
