GOOD DATA = GOOD DECISIONS

Because Data Matter to Decision Making

The Offices of Institutional Analytics and Research Data [OAAI] and Institutional Effectiveness [IE] provide expertise in assessment, evaluation, strategic data planning, reporting, and institutional research to Air University. Our explicit purpose is to gather evidence and lever institutional data to enable robust decision-making across Air University leadership.

Mission

To provide the university with engaging institutional information to advance strategic aims and promote effectiveness. Synthesizing program level data, student achievement measures, with DOD and DAF priorities, OAAI hold the same shared values as those of the university, as expressed in the Strategic Plan: People, Production, Curriculum/Scholarship, Quality of Life and Infrastructure.

Our Motto

We practice integrity and respect, while honoring diversity and inclusiveness. We promote collaboration; excellence, achievement; stewardship; and above all data transparency and data accountability.

Purpose

The OAAI serves as a strategic partner with the campus community, transforming institutional data into accurate, accessible, and actionable information, and advancing the culture of data-informed decision making to support the strategic priorities of Air University and The USAir Force. With expertise in assessment, we assist the institutional effectiveness process by providing a level of support to our schools, units, centers and non-instructional areas for annual self-assessment education program reviews [EPR], the Commanders Mission Analysis Review [CMAR] and evidence required for SACSCOC accreditation.
